Catalan Words was born in 2017 as an account of Instagram with the aim of spreading Catalan around the world in a creative, minimalist and intelligent way. The creator is a guy from Barcelona.
The project grows thanks to all the followers and followers , who identify with the style and content of the publications, and whose participation and interactions marks the evolution of the project .
The scope of the community covers more than 100 countries , and within its diversity - where we find from native Catalan speakers, to expats who live or have lived in Catalonia, to people who have never visited us - everyone shares a strong admiration for the Catalan language and culture .
In 2021, and continuing with the project's vision, Catalan Words launches its online store with t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, and other products, each and every one of them meeting three essential requirements - design, quality, and comfort.
As we feel it, the Catalan mentality is defined with words like optimism, effort, beauty, ambition, solidarity , and the desire to always grow and improve.
